In August of this past year, the Sheep Creek Water Company Board of Directors voted to start paying themselves to attend Board meetings.\u00a0 $600 per person, per month.\u00a0 Instead of that new monthly rate increase going to improve the company, each customer of Sheep Creek Water Company is paying $.50 per month per board director for their hard work at board meetings, unless of course the director is wealthy enough to turn down $7200 per year in free money, for work they used to provide for free.\u00a0 That’s $2.50 per month from the monthly base rate.<\/p>\n
That is quite a large sum of money to be paying these directors.\u00a0 It’s much more than PPHCSD directors receive, and they are a much larger organization with a wider range of responsibilities and more meetings to attend.<\/p>\n
