Thanks for visiting SCWCShareholders.Org, a blog about Sheep Creek Water Company which is a small private mutual water company in Phelan, California.  My name is Peter Barnes, my wife and I are shareholders of Sheep Creek Water Company, which has been providing water to this community for over 100 years. We want to see it continue to provide water for the next 100 years!

The past few years have been difficult ones for Sheep Creek Water Company:  the state of California issued a moratorium on new service connections, and a potential consolidation with Phelan/Pinon Hills Community Service District was studied but eventually did not happen.  Now the board needs to find new water sources for the community.

I believe that there should be more transparency with Sheep Creek shareholders and customers about what is happening in the company.  I have been attending board meetings and researching the history of Sheep Creek Water Company, and I intend to use this website to keep you aware of any news, and also provide easy access to company information.
